SEO

Search is still where buying decisions start. Someone with a broken water heater, a dead furnace, or a yard full of standing water opens Google, types what is wrong, and calls one of the first names they trust. If your business is not on that screen, the job is not close, it is invisible.

SEO is the work of becoming the answer to those searches. Not tricks, not a keyword sprinkled into a paragraph, but a site that loads fast, is organized the way customers actually search, and says enough about the work that a stranger feels comfortable calling you instead of the company they have already heard of.

Two paths

Improve what you own, or build something built to rank.

This is a real choice, not a sales funnel with one exit. Which one is right depends on what you already have.

Path one: we work on the site you already own

If you already have a website you are reasonably happy with, we do not need to throw it away. Most sites we look at are not broken, they are underbuilt. They have a home page, a services page that lists eight services in one paragraph, and a contact page. There is nothing wrong with any of it, there is just not enough of it for search engines to understand what you do or for a customer to feel informed.

In this path we audit what is there, fix the technical problems holding it back, restructure the pages around real search behavior, and build out the pages that are missing. You keep your site, your host, and your brand. The work compounds on an asset you already have, which is usually the cheaper route in terms of time.

Path two: we build a new site designed to rank

Some sites are working against you at the foundation. Page builders that ship a megabyte of unused code, templates with no room for real service pages, platforms where every edit requires a support ticket. When the base is that limited, improving it costs more than replacing it.

In this path we build a new site from scratch with ranking and lead capture as the point rather than an afterthought: a clean technical base, fast load times on a phone, a page structure that can grow into dozens of service and city pages, forms that actually route somewhere, and tracking so you can see what produced a call. You own the site. It is yours, on your domain, and it stays yours.

How it works

What the work actually covers.

Technical foundation and site speed

Crawlability, indexing, clean titles and headings, mobile rendering, image weight, and load time. A customer on a phone in a parking lot will not wait five seconds, and neither will a search engine reward it.

Service pages built around how customers search

One real page per service, written the way people describe the problem, not the way the industry names it. Someone searches for a sewer smell in the yard long before they search for a lateral line inspection.

City and service level pages where it makes sense

If you genuinely serve twelve towns, there is room for pages about the work you do in those towns. We build them only where they can carry real content, because thin pages copied twelve times help nobody.

Content that answers the pre-call questions

What it costs to be wrong, how long the job takes, what happens if it is not fixed, how to tell which problem you have. These are the questions people search before they dial, and the business that answers them tends to get the call.

Google Business Profile alignment

The site and the profile should agree on categories, services, service area, and phrasing so the two reinforce each other instead of sending mixed signals.

Internal linking and structured data

Pages that point to each other in a way that shows what matters, plus markup that tells search engines what your business is, what it offers, and where it works.

The honest timeline

This takes months, and it compounds.

SEO is slow. That is not a hedge, it is how the channel works. Search engines need time to crawl new pages, time to see that people find them useful, and time to trust a site enough to place it above one that has been there for years. Real movement usually shows up in months, not weeks.

What it does in exchange is compound. A page that starts ranking keeps ranking, and it does not stop the day you stop paying for clicks. That is the entire trade: ads turn off, search work accumulates.

Anyone promising you first page rankings in thirty days is either lying or buying ads and calling it SEO. We will not tell you that, and we do not put a ranking guarantee in writing, because nobody controls the results page. What we will do is tell you what we are working on, why, and what changed.

Why it pairs with speed to lead

Ranking without a response system is just more missed calls.

Ranking is only half of a working system. Traffic that arrives and gets no response is wasted, and the fastest way to waste money on SEO is to succeed at it while calls go to voicemail and form fills sit unread until the end of the week.

That is why we pair search work with Speed to Lead and, for most businesses, the AI receptionist. When the ranking starts producing calls at eight at night and on a Saturday morning, something has to answer. Otherwise better rankings just mean more missed calls, which feels like the marketing failed when the marketing worked and the follow up did not.

Straight answers

Common questions about SEO.

How long before we see results?
Months, not weeks. Early technical and page work often shows small movement in the first couple of months, and meaningful ranking gains for competitive local searches generally take longer than that. It builds slowly and then holds, which is the opposite of ads.
Do we own the website?
Yes. Whether we improve the site you have or build a new one, it is on your domain and it is your property. You are not renting a page from us and you do not lose your site if you stop working with us.
What if we already have a website?
Then we usually start there. We audit it, fix what is holding it back, and build out the pages it is missing. We only recommend rebuilding when the current platform makes the work cost more than starting clean, and we will explain exactly why if we think that is the case.
How does this work with the Google Business Profile side?
They feed each other. The profile drives the map results, the site drives the standard results, and both look at consistency between the two. We align categories, services, and service area language across them, and the review work on the profile side supports the site by giving customers a reason to trust the name they just found.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. We guarantee the work, the reporting, and a straight explanation of what is happening. The results page belongs to Google.

Tell us what is not working.

Send us your business and your website, if you have one. We will look at how it is built, what it ranks for now, and what is missing, then tell you what we would run first.

If search is not where your problem is, we will point you at the piece that is.

What are you interested in?

Pick as many as you like, or none if you are not sure yet.

No obligation. We will tell you straight what we would do.
