Google API Compliance

Overview

Peak Local Service Leads uses Google APIs, including the Google Business Profile APIs, to manage Google Business Profiles for our own business and for client businesses that have authorized us as a manager on their profile.

What the application does

• Create, edit and delete Google posts, including updates, offers and events.
• Upload and remove photos.
• Update profile information such as hours, services, description and categories.
• Read reviews and post review replies.
• Read profile performance insights for reporting to the business owner.

Approval before any change

No change is made to a client's Google Business Profile, by automation or manually, unless the business owner approved it in writing first. Review replies are always sent to the business owner for approval before posting. Clients can remove our manager access at any time from their Google Business Profile settings.

Content management and deletion

Posts and media we publish can be edited or deleted at the owner's request at any time. When a client relationship ends or a client asks, we remove our access, stop all activity and delete stored data for that business within 30 days.

Data we access and store

We store OAuth tokens, kept encrypted and never shared, along with business profile details, posts, reviews and performance metrics for the profiles we manage. We use this data only to provide the profile management service the business requested.

Google API Services User Data Policy, Limited Use

Peak Local Service Leads' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train artificial intelligence models. Humans only read this data when the business owner asks us to, for security purposes, or to comply with the law.

Revoking access

Access granted to our application can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Business owners can also remove us as a manager at any time in their Google Business Profile settings, under people and access.
