Google Maps optimization by city.
Google ranks the map using three things it describes publicly: relevance, distance and prominence. Relevance is how well your profile matches the search. Distance is how far you are from the person searching. Prominence is how well known your business is, and reviews and mentions across the web feed into it.
You cannot move your address, so the work goes into relevance and prominence: the right categories and services, a service area that matches where you work, steady posts and photos, and a review flow that keeps going. We measure it with a 49 point grid scan every month.
The city guides below cover what that looks like in each market we have written about.

Common questions.
Can you guarantee a top three spot?
No, and nobody can. Google decides the map. We fix the parts of your profile and reputation that Google uses and show you the results every month.
Why does my ranking change across town?
Distance is part of the ranking, so you can be first near your office and invisible a few miles away. The 49 point scan shows exactly where that happens.
My city is not listed. Can you still help?
Yes. We run the same work everywhere. Send us your trade and town and we will scan your map first.
See where you show up on the map.
Send your trade and town. We will scan your service area and tell you what we would fix first.
- 1.We run your map scan and look at your profile and search results.
- 2.You get a short note with what we would fix first.
- 3.If it makes sense, we set it up on a 15 minute call.
