YouTube API Compliance

Overview

Peak Local Service Leads uses the YouTube Data API v3 through a private, owner only application to manage our own YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@PeakLocalServiceLeads. The application is not offered to the public and is used only by Peak Local Service Leads LLC.

What the application does

• Upload videos to our channel.
• Schedule videos, either by setting them private with a publish time or by publishing them.
• Edit video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, playlists and privacy status.
• Delete videos we uploaded.
• Read our own channel and video details, such as video IDs, status and view statistics, to confirm uploads and manage the schedule.

Content management and deletion

We only post content we created about our own services. When we delete a video, it is removed through the YouTube API and we delete our stored copy of its metadata within 30 days. We do not upload, edit or delete content on any channel we do not own.

Data we access and store

We store OAuth access and refresh tokens, kept encrypted on our server and never shared, along with our own video IDs, titles, descriptions, scheduled times and upload status. We do not access or store data about YouTube viewers or any other users. Any YouTube API data we store is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as YouTube API Services policies require.

Use of YouTube API Services

By using this application, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of information is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy and our own Privacy Policy.

Revoking access

Authorized access can be revoked at any time through the Google security settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all uploads and management immediately, and stored tokens are then deleted.
